The lobby is your starting point in iveo and replaces the former “My events” overview and dashboard. After logging in you see every event in which you have an accepted membership, as cards, a list or a timeline. If the lobby is still empty, it shows you a starting point rather than a blank page.
Series, editions and sub-events
If you run the same conference every year, you work with a series in iveo: each edition is an event of its own, and the lobby bundles them into one card. You do not have to create people and organisations again every year, you adopt them from an earlier edition, one at a time or all from one edition. The search on the programme item also finds entries from earlier editions and creates them as a copy.
Larger formats with several areas you build as a global event with sub-events. The global event is only the frame and has no programme schedule of its own, while the sub-events have their own programme and appear in the lobby under their umbrella event.
