Journeys in iveo

How work moves through your event

Roles say who does what. Journeys show how one thing gets from one role to the next: a submission onto the website, a programme item onto the stage, a speaker from the invitation to their appearance.

Each journey follows one thing step by step and shows who is up, what they do in iveo and where they hand over to the next role.

The journeys

All journeys at a glance

In each graphic, every row is a role and every column a step. The arrows show where the work moves on to the next role.

  • From submission to the website

    7 steps

In iveo a submission becomes a published programme item without anything being copied across: submitters send their contribution without an account, the Producer reviews, schedules and promotes it, and the Programme Organiser maintains it with the speakers and takes it onto the event website.

  • From programme item to show day

    8 steps

In iveo a programme item stays in one system from planning until after show day: the Producer sets stage, time and team, the Programme Organiser plans the running order and the moderation, the moderator fills in their briefing, and on show day the Operator and Director take it live.

  • From invitation to the stage

    8 steps

In iveo speakers supply their profile and presentation themselves: the Programme Organiser invites them on the programme item, they maintain photo, bio and slides on "My appearance", and once confirmed and published they appear on the event website. On show day their presentation is already waiting in the agenda.
