Uploading presentations
How you upload slides, videos and other files for your appearance as a speaker, which files are allowed and what to do if you have no presentation.
Slides, videos and anything else you want to show on stage go into iveo in advance. That way the control room has your files in good time. There are no USB sticks on site: for security reasons, no storage media may be used at the venue, so everything has to be in iveo digitally.
Where you upload
You upload on My appearance, in the card of the programme in question under Presentation (optional):
- One row for each of your own agenda items: time, title, the number of your files and “Upload”. Clicking “Upload” opens the drop zone. Drag files in or pick them; a bar shows the progress.
- “For the programme”: if you are not assigned to any agenda item in the programme, there is one row for the whole programme instead. Your files then belong to the programme as a whole.
Uploading is optional. Once you have uploaded at least one file, the card counts as done.
Which files are allowed
- Documents: PDF, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Images: PNG, JPG and WebP
- Videos: MP4 and MOV
A file can be up to 2 GB. For each agenda item (or for the programme, if you have no agenda item of your own) you upload up to 10 files with a total of no more than 4 GB.
Changing or removing files
You cannot delete uploaded files yourself. If you picked the wrong file or have a new version, upload the new one and let the event team know which file can go.
If you have no presentation
If you don’t need slides, choose “I have no presentation” in the programme card. The card then counts as done, and the event team sees “No presentation” on your entry in the programme. If you change your mind, take it back with “Undo”. If you upload a file later after all, the file counts.
What the event team sees
The team sees your files in the programme’s agenda, with your name and the date of the upload. Files you upload “For the programme” sit under General materials with the note “Speaker upload · no agenda item”, so the team can see that they come from you and don’t belong to any agenda item.
