Speaker placeholders on a programme item

“Keynote: representative of the ministry, tbc.” Slots like these used to live only in a note. Now they have a place in the people box: “Placeholder” adds an open speaker slot with a title, an internal note, a role and the “Show on website” switch.

You sort placeholders like people. With the switch on, the title appears on the programme detail page of the event website after the next publish; only the programme team sees the internal note. Once the person is known, choose “Replace with person”: an existing or new person takes the placeholder’s spot, initially as “Unconfirmed”.
