Adopt people and organisations from earlier editions

If you run the same event every year, you meet a lot of familiar faces again. Until now that meant creating people and organisations from scratch. Now you bring them over from the earlier edition.

If your event belongs to a series with other editions, the speakers list has a “From earlier edition” button. It searches every edition in the series, and each result shows where it comes from. You adopt one at a time or all from one edition. Organisations work the same way.

Adopting means copying. The person comes into your event with their master data, photo and organisations, while their programme assignments stay in the old edition. What this looks like on a programme item is on the Programme and Calendar page.
